Holiday Greetings from Yellowstonian and Eric Junker
You might have seen Eric Junker’s distinctive wildlife imagery previously in its deployment by clothing company Patagonia, or as pop-up street art posters suddenly appearing in varying locations across the American West, or as mural-like motifs in prominent public spaces and business establishments.
A few summers ago, while on a roadtrip through Paradise Valley, Montana, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole, he created quick-draw wildlife posters of bison, grizzlies and wolves and positioned them temporarily in front of living subjects more than 100 yards distant. Tourists loved them. Younger citizens among us think his designs are cool.
Junker does not speak the stiff visual language of artistic dinosaurs. His species are engaging. They’re fresh and contemporary, accessible both to those who have encountered these icons of the wild personally and others who dream of one day visiting the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
In high demand for lending his talent to noble community and conservation efforts intended to enhance public good, Junker chooses to partner with Yellowstonian because he believes impactful content matters. He wants to be part of our humble attempt to build a powerful chorus of advocates giving voice to the cause of wildness.

Many of Junker’s creations have graced the viewsheds of millions of people. Now you can put a limited edition signed Junker print on your wall (only 75 ever made), or proudly wear your values with a special, three-critter edition t-shirt, or head toward the trailhead with a stunning Yeti travel mug etched in silver and proclaiming “Protect Our Last Wild Places.” See green ad below or click here.
Declaring our shared love of the natural world, and the stewardship necessary to save America’s greatest wildlife-rich ecosystem, sends a message that cannot be ignored. It is an uplifting, unifying cause that makes us better humans. At Yellowstonian, we believe advocacy for protecting the irreplaceable things of Planet Earth can be fun, joyous and fetchingly stylish. Why not!? Please support us as we try to make what’s at stake more visible.
