Louisa Willcox has advocated for wildlife and wildlands in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies for 50 years. She has worked for Greater Yellowstone Coalition, Sierra Club, and Natural Resources Defense Council, and served on the board of The Wildlands Project and Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative. She has won national awards for her advocacy. She co-founded the bear conservation website, Grizzly Times, with her late husband, Dr. David Mattson.
