Brett French – Yellowstonian

Brett French is an award-winning longtime outdoor editor and journalist for the The Billings Gazette who has reported on Montana’s environment and Yellowstone National Park for over 40 years. A native Montanan and graduate of the University of Montana School of Journalism, he previously worked at the Helena Independent Record before joining the Billings Gazette. His reporting on public lands, wildlife, conservation, and natural resources has frequently earned accolades from the Montana Newspaper Association and regional journalism competitions.
