Dr. Andy Hansen has had a distinguished career as an American ecologist and is counted among the premier modern scientists in assessing the health of the Greater Yellowstone region. He also has served as a consultant on blue-ribbon teams examining trendlines for ecosystems around the world. Lead author or contributor to major peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, books and reports, he is today professor emeritus at Montana State University in Bozeman where he oversaw the Landscape Biodiversity Lab.
